Karmic debts are unresolved lessons from past lives that manifest as repeating challenges, blockages or compulsive situations in the present. Karmic debts are identified from numerology (karmic numbers 13/4, 14/5, 16/7, 19/1) and astrology (Saturn, North and South Node, Chiron). For each identified karmic debt, the analysis describes: origin, manifestation in the present, key lesson and concrete steps for resolution.

Where it comes from

The karmic debt numbers are part of twentieth-century Western numerology rather than of any Indian source. Four numbers carry the designation: thirteen, fourteen, sixteen and nineteen. Each is read as a specific misuse in a previous cycle — thirteen for avoiding work, fourteen for excess and misuse of freedom, sixteen for the collapse of something built on pride, nineteen for the abuse of position. The framework is part of the same modern synthesis as the life path and destiny numbers.

How the method works

A karmic debt number is present only when one of the four appears as an intermediate value in the calculation before reduction. A life path that reduces from thirteen is read differently from one that reduces from twenty-two even though both give four. That is the whole mechanism: the number is invisible in the final result and shows only in the working. It can appear in the life path, the destiny number, the soul number or the birthday number, and each position is read differently.

What a reading covers

A reading gives which of the four numbers appear in your calculation and where, what each is traditionally read as describing, and what the framework treats as the work of discharging it — which in every case is a form of doing the thing that was avoided.

Common questions

What if I have none?: Most people have none, and the framework does not treat that as an advantage or a disadvantage. It simply means those intermediate values do not appear in your calculation.
Is this Hindu or Buddhist karma?: No. The vocabulary is borrowed but the system is Western numerology. Indian sources do not contain these four numbers or this reading of them.
Can a debt be cleared?: The framework says it is discharged by doing the corresponding work rather than by any ritual, and that the number stays in the calculation regardless.
